Our Classes

Bemi Baby classes support children’s learning and development through play with everyday objects. All of our sessions run in two parts. First, an interactive circle time session, followed by either treasure basket or heuristic play. At the end of each session, coffee and cake is provided for the big people while the smalls explore. If this sounds like fun, take a look at our classes below.

Little Treasures

For sitters and crawlers (Approx 4-12 months)

Mondays, 11 am at The Chessel Centre, Bedminster.

Each session is 45 minutes long and includes a hot drink and cake.

Little Treasures will introduce you and your baby to the joys of treasure basket play.

Together you’ll explore and discover everyday objects through song, movement, stories and games.

At the end of the session, babies will have the opportunity to independently explore their own treasure basket, full of exciting and carefully selected items, that will capture their curiosity.

While the babies independently explore, you will have the opportunity to grab a hot drink, slice of cake and have a natter with the other parents. You do not need to interact with your baby during this time* but as you carefully watch, you will be amazed to see the power of the activity. Babies will touch, feel, drop, smell, listen, suck, bang, wave. Exploring their basket with all of their senses.

*It is not necessary to intervene in their play, unless it is clearly required; however your baby must always be supervised.
